As a beginner and high handicapper, I’ve tried multiple budget drivers. The Alien Golf Prior generation driver is the most dependable driver under 100  I’ve ever had. This is one of the few drivers in this price range that comes with multiple loft and flex options. Since most drivers in percentage target the needs of beginners or seniors, this driver is a great option for low to mid-handicapped. I got these drivers a few years back when my handicap score was 16. I was looking for a driver that was in line with my new swing speed and skill level.

Before this, I could hit around 240 yards with a swing speed of 90 mph. The drivers added at least 30 yards off the tee. Everything was promising and I loved how this driver offered a perfect balance between forgiveness and playability. The driver comes in 2 loft options 9 degrees and 10.5 dresses. As a mid handicap, I got the driver in a 10.5-degree loft with regular stiffness. With a 460 cc oversized head, the driver is exceptionally forgiving.

The face is aerodynamically designed which helped me hit the distance and speed even for the balls that missed the center.
